The Deputy Director-General of the Customer Services Division (CSD) plays a critical role in contributing to the strategic direction of IP Australia and holds relevant statutory roles including Commissioner of Patents and Registrar of Trade Marks. You lead the Customer Services Division to deliver quality examination and registration services for the four registrable intellectual property rights, (patents, trade marks, designs and plant breeder's rights). 

Reporting to the Director-General and working closely with Deputy Director-General, Policy and Corporate Division (PCD) and the senior leadership team, as Deputy Director-General of the Customer Services Division you contribute to strategic direction setting. You will have outstanding judgement and business acumen to enable a strong contribution and have a demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff undertaking a diverse range of activities, including public education.
